Below is a small preview of the journey highlights. We will visit many other temples, caves, and power spots along the way!
SHIRDI
Our journey begins at the Maha-samadhi of Shirdi Sai Baba, one of the most renowned saints in the history of India. Shirdi has become the top spiritual destination for people of all beliefs and religions in India. Even though Shirdi Baba died in 1918, he is still very present at his tomb and hundreds of thousands of people have had miraculous experiences with him even after his passing. He is an Avatara of Lord Dattatreya, the Adi-Guru or Original Teacher.
RISHIKESH
From Shirdi, we fly to Rishikesh which rests in the majestic foothills of the Himalayas on the banks of the holy waters of Mother Ganga. We will take part in the famous Ganga arathi, a fire ceremony to the goddess Ganga and receive teachings from Ramakrishna and Bhramari to prepare us for our journey into the mountains the following day.
PANCH PRAYAG
Panch Prayag is the confluence of five sacred rivers Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. These rivers merge to form the holy River Ganga who is worshipped as the life-giving goddess. It is believed that taking a dip in the Prayags cleanses the soul and provides moksha (salvation). As we journey through the Himalayas we will stop at the panch prayags to take a dip and experience the divine energy flowing!
KEDARNATH
Kedarnath Temple is one of the most powerful (and remote) Shiva temples on the planet. A pilgrimage to this temple is an experience that will fill you with divine energy and stay with you for lifetimes. It is a place of immense power and it is our great honor to be able to bring you to this ancient and holy site!
KALIMATH
This ancient and mighty temple is dedicated to the negativity-killing incarnation of Mother known as Maha Kali. This temple is unique in that Kali is worshipped here as the Sri Yantra - her sacred energy diagram. Opposite her sacred shrine is the yagna kund, an eternal fire that never dies. We will take part in an ancient and esoteric ceremony to connect with the Mother and receive her blessings.
BADRINATH
This stunning temple nestled into the Himalayas is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in all of India where Lord Vishnu is worshipped. The idol was miraculously found in a river by the great saint Adi Shankacharya. This entire area radiates with divine energy and there is so much to see. There are holy lakes, hot springs, waterfalls, a beautiful trek to see Vishnu’s footprints. We will also visit Mana Village. Known as the “last village in India” the impeccably maintained village is like stepping into another time and space.
CAVES OF MASTERS
From time immemorial, sages and yogis have gone on solitary retreats in secluded caves. Here they practice austerities with the goal of having certain divine experiences or attaining enlightenment. The earth element in these areas carry the energy of these great saints and the rewards of their practices. We will visit and meditate in caves where great spiritual masters such as Vashista, Jesus, Vyasa, Adi Shankaracharya, and Ganesh meditated.
RISHIKESH
Our journey will end at a beautiful resort and spa in Rishikesh where we have a couple of days to relax and digest all the beautiful energy we received on our journey. Here you will also have plenty of time to enjoy Ayurvedic spa treatments, visit nearby temples and holy sites, and shop at the local stores with beautiful Himalayan goods. We will have a closing ceremony and then head to the airport where we will all fly to Bangalore together before heading home.

Ramakrishna first met his Guru, Sri Kaleshwar, in 1997. He moved to India shortly after and ended up staying 15 years studying at the feet of this great saint. He was one of the senior-most students of this great master and the only student to receive the initiation of sannyasin. Sri Kaleshwar taught how accessing the energies of power spots is one of the most necessary and genius short-cuts in all of spirituality.
Ramakrishna brings 35 years of spiritual experience and knowledge of advanced esoteric Vedic practices, including Yogic, Siddhic, and Shakti traditions, as well as a great sense of humor!

You should book your international flight to arrive and depart from Bangalore Airport (BLR).

Our journey ends when we arrive back into Bangalore at 8 pm on October 20th. Flights typically depart between midnight and 4 am so you will want to look for a flight that departs midnight or later on October 21st.

Many people enjoy arriving 1-3 days early to have more time to adjust to jet lag. If you would like to arrive early, please let us know and we can help make recommendations on where to stay.

Yes. An Indian Tourist Visa is required to travel to India. You can obtain a Visa via this website. You will have the option to get a 30-day, 1-year, or 5-year visa, starting at $40. Be sure to apply as soon as possible to avoid any issues. Typically you’ll get your Visa in your inbox within 3 day of applying for it.

Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return date from India. If not, you will need to apply for a new passport before applying for your visa.

As this is a pilgrimage and we are going to holy places, modest clothing is necessary to enter temples. For temples in the mountains, any clothing that keeps you warm is appropriate. We will discuss specifics in our pre-planning calls.

The weather in the Himalayas should be cool, but quite pleasant. Below are the average temperatures for each of our stops:
Shirdi: 68° - 88° F
Rishikesh: 63° - 93° F
Guptkashi: 53° - 75° F
Kedarnath: 30° - 50° F (1 day trip up the mountain)
Badrinath: 30° - 53° F
Bangalore / Penukonda: 65° - 85° F

Our journeys typically include anywhere from 12 - 25 people for a peaceful yet intimate group dynamic. Enough that you can meet and connect with new friends, not so many that you are alone in a crowd.

Yes!
Spiritual journeys are intensely private and you will find plenty of introverts on our journeys. Often we hear, “I almost didn’t come … but I’m so glad I did.” India is the perfect place to go within. It’s quite wonderful to travel in a group with like-minded souls.
You also have the choice of a Single Occupancy room if one is available if you prefer more alone time.

You will need cash for incidentals, donating at temples (if you choose to do so), and meals or snacks that are not included
Incidentals like laundry and room service can be charged to a credit card. Even gifts and souveniers can usually be paid for witha credit card. Most people find $500 cash on hand is more than enough.

You will be able to change money at the airport once you arrive. We will also be able to change rupees for you at other stops on the journey, if needed.

Our groups tend to have men and women of all ages!
Even though we will be in the mountains, we will not be hiking so there are no restrictions on fitness level for this journey.
